Hosting a board meeting can be stressful. If you are going to pull people away from work for a meeting, you want to make sure your people feel it was time well spent. You want it to be impactful, effective and enjoyable.
We’ve found that the right location can help accomplish each of these goals.
Impactful – Villa Florentina is a beautiful location that is sure to inspire your board. Nestled in the heart of the historic Coloma valley Villa Florentina is a Tuscan-style estate surrounded by an olive orchard with walk ways and seating areas where people can relax or have mini break out meetings. Inside are attractive rooms that can be set up for your meeting, dining and mixing.
Effective – Villa Florentina helps you eliminate the distractions so that you can make the most of your meetings. No buildings, cars, signs or people. We can even disable the Wi-Fi for a “Wi-Fi free zone” if you so choose. Just the sound of the breeze through the olive trees, the rush of the nearby American River, the humming of bees in the lavender and the occasional flutter of a family of quails. It is truly a serene location where your people can really focus.
Enjoyable– Villa Florentina is surrounded by many quality recreational opportunities to break up the work. Whitewater rafting is by far the most popular local activity. We can connect you to a number of local reputable outfitters. The area also boasts many great hiking, climbing and biking areas, but if you are looking for something less adrenaline filled, just a few hundred yards from Villa Florentina is Sutter’s Mill, the epicenter of the California Gold Rush and is a must see place for anyone with any interest in California history. We can line up an in-character docent to tell the story of the Gold Rush. There are also local wineries, golf courses and scenic Apple Hill with hay rides. Let us know what your interests are and we are sure to find activities to please everyone on your board.
Villa Florentina is a luxury Bed and Breakfast, and event venue located just a couple of hours east of San Francisco in the Sierra Foothills, and we feel it could be the ideal place for your next board meeting.
